MEtal wine racking systems are only as good as the layout, structural support and cooling plan behind them. Our design team specs every project against your room’s dimensions, load points and climate needs before a single rail ships.
Most of our systems are cold-rolled or powder-coated steel, with select collections in brushed or polished aluminum and stainless cable hardware. Powder-coat finishes resist scratching and won’t rust in a properly conditioned cellar.
Yes. What matters most for aging wine is a stable, humidity-controlled environment — the rack material itself doesn’t affect the wine. Metal racks hold bottles horizontally just like wood, keeping corks moist, and many of our steel systems are more precise and space-efficient than traditional wood racking.
It depends on the system and how it’s anchored. Our wall rail systems (E-Series, Max Reveal, Ultra) are rated per foot and must be secured into wall studs or blocking, not drywall alone. Floor-to-ceiling systems like Frontenac and V Bar transfer weight to the floor and ceiling rather than the wall, which is why we always confirm structural support during the design consultation.
Yes — this is where most of our metal collections shine. Wall rail systems come in modular foot-lengths that stack to fit almost any wall, and floor-to-ceiling systems like Frontenac and Evolution are fabricated to your exact ceiling height and room width as part of our custom design service.
For long-term storage of any material, yes — wine should be kept between roughly 55–58°F with stable humidity, regardless of what the rack is made from. If you’re building out a cooled cellar alongside your rack purchase, our team can run a free heatload calculation to size the right cooling unit.
Wall rail systems (like E-Series or Ultra) mount directly to a wall and are best for smaller collections or accent walls. Floor-to-ceiling systems (like Frontenac or V Bar) anchor top and bottom for full-wall, high-capacity displays. Cable-metal hybrids use tensioned steel cable with metal hardware for the lightest, most minimal visual footprint — best when you want the wine itself to be the focal point.
A single wall rail installation is typically a half-day job. Full floor-to-ceiling or whole-room metal wine walls are scheduled based on scope and usually completed within one to two days once fabrication is complete. We’ll give you an exact timeline during your design consultation.
Our showrooms are in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, and most of our installation work is throughout South Florida. We also ship rack systems nationwide for self-install or local contractor installation — reach out through the design request form and we’ll confirm what’s possible for your location.
