Build the wine cellar you want without paying for a fully custom build. Wine Maker Series wine racks are solid wood kit racks made in the USA that ship free to your door, go together with basic tools, and line up with each other so you can mix and match racks, displays and extenders into a layout that is completely your own.
Every Wine Maker Series piece is designed to line up with the next, so you can combine storage, display and finishing pieces in any order. No two cellars have to look the same.
Want help planning the layout? Our designers will turn your measurements into a free 2D and 3D Wine Maker Series design and parts list.

Every piece is solid wood and arrives as a ready-to-build kit, so you get the warmth of a custom wood cellar without a custom build.
Get the look of a custom wood cellar for a fraction of the cost. Pay only for the pieces your wall needs.
Wine Maker Series kits ship free, so the price you see is the price you pay for your racks.
Racks stand side by side and line up with each other, making the whole system a straightforward DIY project.
The Wine Maker Series wood wine kits make it easy to create a custom wine cellar with the classic beauty of solid wood. Modular, easy-to-assemble designs give you flexibility to fit your space and grow your collection over time.
A modular wood wine rack kit is a set of pre-cut, standard-size solid wood racks that you assemble yourself and line up side by side. Instead of paying for a one-off custom build, you choose individual columns, display racks, bins and extenders that fit together to create a cellar that looks custom.
Yes. Wine Maker Series racks are solid wood kit racks made in the USA, available in Ponderosa Pine, Knotty Alder, Premium Redwood and Grand Mahogany.
Most homeowners can assemble the kits themselves. Each kit includes the hardware and step-by-step instructions, and the racks go together with basic tools such as a drill, level and tape measure.
Yes. Tall, freestanding wine racks should always be secured to the wall, ideally into studs, so they stay stable when fully loaded with bottles.
Measure the width and height of each wall. Standard columns are 77 1/8" tall and hold 18 bottles each, a 2-column rack is 9 1/16" wide, and each additional column adds about 4 3/16". Use 13 1/2" extenders to reach closer to the ceiling, or send us your measurements for a free design.
Yes. That is the advantage of a modular system. Wine Maker Series pieces are designed to line up with each other, so you can combine standard columns, display top racks, horizontal display rows, diamond bins and corner bins in any order.
Yes. You can start with a few columns and add more racks, displays or extenders as your collection grows, without replacing what you already installed.
Staining is optional. If you want a color, choose a wine-safe, water-based finish such as WineSafe™ stain and clear sealant, which are low in VOCs and odor-free so they will not affect your wine.
Standard 3 1/2" bottle slots fit most 750 ml wine bottles. For larger formats such as magnums or Champagne, use display racks or bins, or ask our team which pieces fit your bottles.
Yes. Wine Maker Series wood wine rack kits ship free to your home or job site, so you can plan your cellar knowing exactly what the racks will cost.
